Norman NEXT’s Community Activism team engages young professionals through community involvement and volunteerism with Norman’s social service organizations.

Norman NEXT does this by:

• Organizing volunteer days on-site at a local nonprofit, helping with a critical project identified by the nonprofit.

• Leading and supporting community fundraisers that directly benefit Norman nonprofits. Since the Fall of 2011 the Community Activism team has raised $10,000 for Norman nonprofits.

• Hosting in-person and virtual events that highlight and connect Norman NEXT members to local nonprofits.
