Norman Next’s mission is to be the leading influence in making Norman the community where young professionals want to live, work and play. In an effort to support that mission, we have created the Mentorship Program to connect young professional with prominent members of the Norman community.
The goal is to provide an opportunity for mentees to gain insight into career paths, community engagement and/or professional growth. Mentees will apply to be paired with one of the Mentors from our roster, or another of their own request.
The program consists of two scheduled events, the Kickoff Meeting and Wrap up Session. Outside of these, the mentor and mentee will schedule their own meetings.
Examples of possible interactions include lunch, coffee, job shadowing or introduction to an organization (such as Rotary, Chamber After Hours, etc).
2020 Event Dates:
Kickoff Meeting: Monday, March 2
Wrap up Session: Thursday, May 7.
